Rae has worked as a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner since 2004. She believes there is a strong mind body connection and that a lot of physical pain is a result of mental and emotional stress. She incorporates deep tissue and sports massage techniques where needed but feels being able to reach a deep state of relaxation is almost as beneficial, and in some cases more so, than the physical muscle manipulation. Therefore, she likes to incorporate Reiki into massages and believes it is very beneficial to the service as a whole.
